This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through www.delicaterebel.com.au and any other sales channel operated by Delicate Rebel.
Made-to-order boots
Unless clearly marked as in stock or ready to ship, all Delicate Rebel boots are made to order. This means your boots are created especially for you after your order is placed and payment has been received.
Production typically takes approximately 6-8 weeks. This is an estimate only and may vary depending on the style ordered, custom details, supplier workload, material availability, design approval requirements, seasonal demand and other circumstances outside our control.
Delivery time begins once your boots have been completed and dispatched. It does not begin from the date your order is placed.
Ready-to-ship items
From time to time, selected products may be available as in-stock or ready-to-ship items. These items will be clearly marked on the website. Ready-to-ship items are generally dispatched within 2-3 business days after payment authorisation, excluding weekends and public holidays, unless otherwise stated.
Custom design orders and approvals
For custom boot orders, production may not begin until all required design details, sizing information, measurements, colour preferences, artwork references, written approvals and any required payment have been received. Delays in providing information or approvals may delay production and dispatch.
Shipping rates and options
Shipping options, rates and delivery estimates are shown at checkout where available. Orders are shipped using standard delivery unless an express option is selected and paid for at checkout.
Selecting express shipping only affects the courier delivery service after dispatch. It does not shorten the made-to-order production timeframe unless we have agreed this with you in writing.
Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details by email where tracking is available. Please use the tracking link provided to monitor your delivery.
Delivery estimates and delays
Courier and postal delivery estimates are estimates only. Delivery may be affected by weather, courier delays, public holidays, peak periods, incorrect delivery details, remote locations, customs clearance, natural events, supplier delays or other circumstances outside our control.
We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party couriers, postal providers, customs processes or events outside our reasonable control, but we will do our best to assist where possible.
Address accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery details at checkout. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, refusal to accept delivery or failure to collect the parcel, the customer may be responsible for any return postage, re-delivery fees or related costs.
Signature on delivery and authority to leave
Where available, our orders may be sent with signature required. If you request authority to leave or choose a delivery option that allows a parcel to be left unattended, you accept the risk of loss, theft or damage once the parcel has been marked as delivered by the courier.
Special dates and urgent orders
If you require your order for a wedding, event, photoshoot, competition, holiday or specific date, please contact us before ordering. We cannot guarantee delivery by a specific date unless we have confirmed this in writing.
International orders
If international shipping is available, the customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees, local charges or other costs imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in our product or shipping prices unless expressly stated.
Lost or damaged parcels
If your parcel appears lost, delayed or damaged in transit, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and tracking details. We may need to lodge an investigation with the courier or postal provider before a resolution can be confirmed.
